CCE Drop-In Conversations April 26-27
It’s hard to believe, but as of the date of publication of this article, there are just two weeks left of classes, one week of finals, Senior Week, and then Commencement — and then it’s a wrap for the 2022-23 academic year!
Some seniors have already landed a full-time job, while others are making plans for graduate school. If that describes you, congratulations!
However, if you’re a senior and you’re still not sure what you will be doing the day after Commencement, take a deep breath — everything is going to be okay. Your career doesn’t have to start on May 22; there’s still time for you to put together a plan.
As for returning students, some of you have already secured a summer job, an internship, or will be participating in a research project this summer. Once again, if you find yourself in this situation, well done! But if you still aren’t sure what you are going to do during the summer months, there’s no need to panic; you still have an opportunity to take part in meaningful experiences this summer that can help you build your resume and advance on your intended career path.
Those of you whose plans are still in flux are probably asking, “What can I do to move forward?” The answer will vary from person to person, but the Center for Career Excellence is here to help guide you through that thought process.
We will be available for drop-in career conversations across campus from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, and Thursday, April 27.
Stop in on your own or in a small group of two to three people and chat with a career coach about any career-related inquiries you might have, including questions about career exploration, networking, resumes, internship/job search, and more!
Locations and available times are listed below. And of course, we’re always available to meet with you for a 1-on-1 career coaching appointment — simply log on to Handshake and make an appointment today!
