THIS IS NOT SATIRE!!!!

Learn more about two major upcoming events occurring right here on campus that all students are welcome to attend!

This weekend, 10 Laurentians of color will be on campus for the RISE (Resilience, Influence, Success and Empowerment) Summit, and on April 5, 10 Laurentian women will be on campus for the Saint to Saint Women’s Summit.

RISE, built in partnership with student leaders, aims to:

  • Broaden access, sense of belonging and connections between students and alumni
  • Create opportunities for collaboration, community and connection at SLU
  • Facilitate professional development and networking opportunities.

All members of the campus community are welcome to attend panel sessions on Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Hannon Room on the third floor of the Student Center, as well as the closing remarks at 2:30 p.m., also in the Hannon Room. No registration is required to attend these events.

The Saint to Saint Women’s Summit will be held on Saturday, April 5. Kathleen Colson ’79 will share her experiences as chief executive officer of Big Idea Nonprofit Consulting and founder of BOMA, an economic development organization that currently works in seven African countries to build pathways to rural entrepreneurship to end extreme poverty in Africa’s drylands as part of a keynote address.

Sheila Anne Murray ’15, the owner of Sheila Anne Coaching and Wellness, will also provide a spotlight on wellness.

Students will have an opportunity to have conversations with the attending alumnae/parents over the course of the day during meet and greet, roundtable and lunch sessions.

Advance registration for this event is required so we have an accurate count for lunch. Please scan the QR code below to register by Wednesday, April 2 at 11:59 p.m. to secure your spot!
