Ever been interested in improvisation or stand-up or just comedy in general?
Starting this spring semester, a new group is being established at St. Lawrence University.
This group will focus on the art of improvisation as well as stand-up, and written comedy. Those who are eager to strut their stuff will have the opportunity to perform these new found and honed talents for their peers to witness and enjoy. However, those who are uncomfortable performing will not be pressured to take part in the performance aspect of the club. Those people will be able to contribute and participate in writing sketches and other material.
In order to make these shows complete, the group will also need individuals interested in costume and set design in order to make the club St. Lawrence University’s very own version of “Saturday Night Live”.
The group will be advised and mentored by Ann Marie Gardinier Halstead and Erik Johnson.
