SLU Football Alumni Reunion Announcement

The St. Lawrence Football Alumni Reunion Committee is reaching out to share plans for the first SLU Football Alumni Reunion to be held June 23-25 in Canton. Anyone who was a team member, coach, or friend of the St. Lawrence University Football Program, at any time in the program’s rich history, is welcomed and encouraged to attend.

We are fortunate to be working in partnership with St. Lawrence University to bring football alumni back to campus. We are grateful to be supported by and working with Bob Durocher M’94, P’13, St.
Lawrence’s Senior Associate Vice President for Athletics, Joe Keniston ‘05, and Executive Director of Laurentian Engagement and Annual Giving and SLU Head Football Coach Dan Puckhaber M’17.

The University has generously offered to set up a site and manage registration, as well as provide check-in support throughout the day on Friday, June 23, and host us for an on-campus Welcome Back Brunch the morning of Saturday, June 24.

The Football Alumni Reunion weekend will offer teammates, coaches, and old friends the opportunity to reconnect on the golf course, at the Hoot, and on campus. We are looking forward to what should be a great weekend with teammates, friends, and fellow alumni.

Our hope is that this gathering will serve as a catalyst for the creation of something special for former,
current, and future Saints football student-athletes. Attached to this message, you will find an outline of the first St. Lawrence Football Alumni Reunion weekend. Registration for the event can be accessed via this link: https://alumni.stlawu.edu/events/football-reunion23.

We encourage you to plan on attending. Register now for the reunion and secure a room at a local hotel. Once your plans are made, we ask that you reach out to former teammates and old friends, encouraging them to follow your lead. There will be plenty of room at the social functions, but hotel rooms and golf foursomes are limited.

As the saying goes, you can’t make old friends. Please make plans to be with some of your oldest and hard-earned friends in late June in the town we once called home and, on the campus, where we played football for the scarlet and brown.
