What is your major?
I’m an English in Creative Writing major also minoring in Philosophy and Italian Studies
How long have you been playing tennis?
I’ve been playing tennis since I was about five years old.
What inspired you to start playing tennis?
My father was a collegiate and professional tennis player, so as the first child, he essentially decided that I’d play tennis too. He has been my main inspiration to play along with watching pro tennis.
Why did you choose to attend St. Lawrence?
I knew I ideally wanted to go to a small liberal arts college on the East Coast. The tennis coach at the time reached out, and as I started researching into St. Lawrence, it seemed to offer everything I wanted holistically.
What is your favorite team memory?
My favorite team memory would probably be upsetting Vassar in our dual match against them last year.
What is your favorite class that you have taken at SLU?
My favorite class I’ve taken at SLU would be between Rebels, Hipsters and Visionaries: The Beat Generation and Beyond with Dr. Penny Vlagopoulos or Intro to Philosophy with Dr. Jenny Hansen.
How has your season been going so far?
Our season has been going really well so far! We just had two great wins over Union College and the University of Rochester last weekend.
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
My goals for the rest of the season are to achieve a great singles and doubles record, as well as to contribute the best I can in getting my team to the Liberty League Tennis Championship.
Favorite pro athlete?
Roger Federer, the tennis maestro himself, of course.
