Welcome back you beautiful babes! After a restful break spent sleeping, working, traveling and more, The Dub is back and is gearing up for another semester full of intersectional feminism, safe sex, and lots of Dub luv! We wanted to take the time today to help you get to know the lovely residents of 3 University just a little bit better.

Emily ‘Mil’ Burns

They/them

Mil Burns, one of our beloved seniors and the notorious pink Schwinn rider, hails from Tupper Lake, New York! Mil can be found around campus tutoring in the W.O.R.D. Studio or working on their next one-hit-wonder in the studio. Mil is a Biology major and statistics minor with a love for birds, RStudio, and Dr. Pepper. Some fun facts about this goofy guy are that they know how to do the breakdance move ‘the pin-drop’ and that their favorite food is spaghetti!

Gwen Landis

She/her

Gwen Landis, a senior Dubber, comes to our beautiful little home from Stow, Massachusetts. Gwen is a multifield major and studies Global and environmental Health. This lovely lady enjoys dancing—both choreographed and unchoreographed—eggs, learnings to sew things, and is a self-reported weasel enthusiast. One time, Gwen left her phone in the snowbank next to our house for two weeks, and when she found it, it still worked!

Cara Monteleone

They/them

Cara Monteleone, a junior Neuroscience major and Outdoor Studies and Gender & Sexuality studies double-minor comes to us from Livonia, New York. This cool cat enjoys jazz saxophone improvisation, Italian food perseveration, backcountry play, and juggling! In their spare time, Cara is a Biology Department TA and master fire builder. If you see them around campus, be sure to ask them to tell you their famous joke!

She/her

Grace Keenan, a.k.a. Grace Lightening, is a sophomore Anthropology Major and History and Gender & Sexuality studies double minor. Grace comes to the Dub from Scarborough, Maine and enjoys spending her time reading, listening to music, and doing arts and crafts. When Grace isn’t in ODY being an academic rockstar, this queen can be spotted performing with the UpBeats acapella group or playing free iPhone games. A fun fact about Grace is that Anna Kendrick was her babysitter!

Izzy Wellman-Webster

She/her

Izzy W.W. is our resident entrepreneur and hairdresser. This spunky steak-enthusiast comes from Bar Harbor, Maine and is a Creative Writing major and Public Health minor. In her spare time, Izzy enjoys dancing, baking treats, obsessing over Patti Smith and loving on her friends. A fun fact about Izzy is that she is currently growing out her bangs!

Emily Copolla

She/her

EmC is another one of our special seniors and comes to the Dub from Keene, New Hampshire. This academic weapon is a Biology major with minors in Public Health and European Studies. Around campus, you can find Emily TAing Biology Peer Pods or working in the CIIS Office (go say hey!). When she’s not on the grind, Em enjoys going on walks and listening to the Binchtopia podcast, and snacking on cauliflower crust pizza from the pub with pesto and ranch on top! Be sure to ask Emily about her eight near-death experiences!

Gabby Reynolds

They/them

Gabby is a junior Global Studies major from Buffalo, New York! This groovy guy can often be found hanging around 3 University, sipping on an ice-cold Coca-Cola. Gabby enjoys hanging with friends, taking care of their pet fish Carpet (RIP Muncher) and kitten Angelo, and listening to music! If you run into Gabby on campus, ask them about their new room!

Sara Monggaard

She/her

Sara is one of our glorious seniors and a returning Dubber from Roskilde, Denmark. One of Sara’s favorite places on campus is the Noble skylight study area, where she can often be found discussing interesting readings from her Global Studies major and Gender and Sexuality Studies minor classes. Sara enjoys late night porch-swinging/cigs, trying new recipes in the Dub kitchen, and spending time with friends. Be sure to ask Sa about her true love, Mika!

Mary Batsie

She/her

Mary is a junior (eek) English major from Jericho, Vermont! This returning house member stays busy as the Concert Chair of ACE and the Editor of the St. Lawrence Review. Next time you see Mary, be sure to ask her about her favorite food!
