Last Sunday, January 26 was the 62th Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. The celebrities were not only a hit on stage, but also on the red carpet, while also paying tribute to Kobe Bryant, who passed away earlier that day.

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell secured all the top awards, while Lizzo, being the most nominated, took home three awards herself.

“Billie Eilish’s oversized unisex outifts have become part of her go-to style, and she decided to elevate that look at this year’s ceremony” writes Bianca Gracie, for Billboard.

“The first-time Grammy winner matched her neon green hair with her custom head-to-toe Gucci ensemble, which sparkled beneath the red-carpet lights.

She completed the look with gold Gucci hoop earrings, long manicured nails dotted with the designer’s iconic logo and emerald-green leather Flashtrek sneakers” said Gracie.

“Lizzo was the most nominated artist of the night, so it was only fitting the singer had a Cinderella moment on the red carpet — with a pop star-inspired spin, of course! She took a page out of Britney Spears’ Grammys look 20 years ago, with her sequin-adorned white strapless gown (courtesy of Versace) and matching feathered shawl. Lizzo completed the elegant ensemble with a neckful of diamonds and cascading waves fit for a Hollywood starlet” said Gracie.

Arianna Grande ended up changing her outfit the same amount of times Billie Eilish went to receive an award, changing approximately five times throughout the night.

She started her red carpet walk in a stunning, blueish-gray Giambattista Valli, totally tulle gown with her signature pony and elbow high gloves. Grande then changed into a puffy two-piece, two toned gray dress and, of course, kept the gloves on. She followed with a strapless emerald green look that seemed to be her final gown of the evening.

Billy Porter really stood out on the carpet with a blue, fringe and flared jumpsuit from Baja East by Scott Studenberg with a matching jacket and eyeliner.

He topped it off with a matching hat made in collaboration with Sarah Sokol, that had the ability to shield Porter’s face from the photographers and reporters.

Shawn Mendes did it again with his usual structured skinny pant suit, this time in magenta, done by Louis Vuitton. Camilla Cabello wore a strapless Versace black sequin number with a black fringe hanging from the hem and an attached sequin stitched train.

Cabello had a heartwarming performance, dedicated to her father and wore a similar style to her red-carpet dress but in bubblegum pink and princess selves.

Gwen Stefani also changed multiple times throughout the night, specifically rocking a mini structured Dolce and Gabbana mini dress with shell-encrusted detailing that made her sleek hair and simple makeup moment look effortless.

Her Le Silla over-the-knee boots elevated the look even further. During Stefani’s performance with husband Blake Shelton, she sported another Dolce Gabbana queen of hearts-like ball gown in cream with a rose flower headband.

“For the exciting night, Maggie Rogers hit the red carpet in a vintage Chanel dress from the label’s pre-fall 2014 collection adorned with gold embroidered stars—a fitting creation for a rising star herself” reported Christine Allaire for Vogue.

Allaire also explained that, “Rogers also carried an unexpected accessory on the step and repeat, forgoing a purse for a more statement-making piece.

‘I carried an archival Chanel water bottle as a nod to the importance of sustainability and the urgency of our climate change reality,’ Rogers said.

“I was grateful to have a moment to honor the work of Karl Lagerfeld, who has inspired me so deeply” said Rogers to Allaire.

Rogers may have not won an award at the Grammys, but she still was named Best Dressed by Vogue and was able to spread her message of climate crisis awareness which is as successful as one can be for their first Grammys.
