The Ultimate Hangover Cure
From Pedialyte, to Gatorade, to coffee: the constant search for the elusive “hangover cure” has not yet discovered a quick fix. Neither have I. Maybe a hangover cannot be fully cured, but there are certainly ways to make it feel a lot better: and this starts with the morning after.
Hydration and nutrient replenishment are crucial after a night out. After some quick research, eggs and bananas have positioned themselves as frontrunners in the hangover-cure-food category. Eggs and bananas are two of the best foods to eat with a mean hangover.
Eggs replenish the nutrients and pump the body with proteins. Bananas have a ton of potassium, which will give you a much needed energy boost.
The most common (and easiest, and often most delicious) hangover cure meal is something greasy. A greasy meal post-drink can help with alcohol absorption.
A greasy meal post-drink can also lead to an upset stomach and worse hangover, no matter how good it tastes.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with pounding two breakfasts sandwiches the morning after Titus, but there are other options.
These gluten-free banana pancakes are easy, inexpensive, quick, and just filling enough to not make you feel sick all over again.
