  1. Class year?

I am a senior graduating this spring!

  1. Where are you from?

A small town in Massachusetts called Northborough.

  1. Favorite food?

I am a very picky eater and eat like an infant, so I will never say no to chicken tenders and fries!

  1. How long have you been running?

I actually used to hate running and having to run to train for soccer. A few years ago, I made myself and fellow teammate, Sam Cohen ‘23, run a half marathon (mostly because my brother told me I wouldn’t be able to) and learned to love it and how to use it to my advantage. Now it is my go-to work out to get a release on whatever is going on in life!

  1. Why did you choose St. Lawrence

I first learned about SLU really late in the college process. I knew I wanted a small school with a very close student body, but really thought I needed to go south to escape the Mass. winters. However, I did the exact opposite and still yell at myself walking to class in the mornings in the winter when my eyelashes freeze over. With that being said, when I first got to campus on a recruiting visit and got to meet the coaches and players and just the overall feeling of family on campus, it just felt right. My mom knew as soon as we left that I would choose SLU!

  1. What is your favorite team memory?

Some of my favorite team memories are in the locker rooms before games, especially home games. With giant speakers blasting our favorite songs and the disco ball to light up the room, I always love watching everyone hype each other up and get excited to go out and play. The energy is infectious, and I will certainly miss that when I graduate.

  1. What is your favorite St. Lawrence’s memory?

My favorite St. Lawrence memories occur during the spring here on campus. After months of frigid winters and snow, the feeling of the sun when laying on the quad is unmatched. I love being able to go outside without my giant winter coat and sit on an Adirondack chair and read a book to just take my mind off everything else. Seeing everybody doing whatever they can to be outside, whether it’s throwing a ball around or going for walks is just a great feeling.

  1. What is your favorite part of being a collegiate athlete?

I believe the best part of being a collegiate athlete is the opportunity to meet fellow athletes at SLU. Whether it be in the athletic hallways, training rooms or certain events, being an athlete has allowed me to befriend many other teams and their players and certainly makes the school feel more like a family with the more people I know. I also love how much St. Lawrence students support the teams here. Every game has plenty of fans with most of them being fellow students supporting their friends. It is always an amazing feeling to look out into the stands and see your friends there cheering for you!

  1. What is your least favorite part of being a collegiate athlete?

Being a student-athlete means putting on a balancing act in nearly every aspect of your life in order to get everything done. While having a structured schedule has always helped me to succeed, it can sometimes add up quickly with missing events, or falling behind in homework which can be a lot to overcome at times. However, when this happens, I just remind myself how much I love to play and how fortunate I am to be in the position I am here at St. Lawrence and work to fix my balancing act so that it is even again!

  1. How has your season been going so far?

Our season has been going really well! We have some amazing freshmen who are getting a lot of minutes and are exactly what we needed to add to our already deep team. We are off to an unbeaten record which is always nice and team morale is very high so I hope we can just keep doing what we are doing!

  1. What are your goals for the rest of the season?

Obviously, the goal is always to win Liberty Leagues. Although going beyond that I just want the team to keep the morale we have going and just have fun. The four years go by very fast and this year I want the team to be as successful as possible but also just enjoying the game and the team and loving what we do!

  1. Fun fact?

This summer I got to travel to five countries in Europe including France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands! It was my first time ever going to Europe, so it was really amazing to see and learn all about different cultures and languages!
