Intramural Softball Playoffs Recap

The 2023 St. Lawrence Intramural Softball season was a very fun and exciting season, and it concluded this past weekend, with the semifinals and championship game being played on the afternoon of Sunday, April 27. It was an exceptionally wet afternoon due to some rain, but the teams all persevered, played good games, and had a great time.

In the first semifinal, the number-one-seed, The Failures, beat the number-fourseed, Canton Athletics, by a score of 10 to 3. In the second semifinal game, the three-seed, The Trash Pandas, beat the two seed, Team Cutwataa, by a score of 10-3.

The championship game, interestingly enough, also ended with a final score of 10-3. In the championship game, The Trash Pandas jumped out to a 3-1, and they held this lead until the bottom of the fifth inning. In the bottom of the fifth inning, The Failures scored nine runs to take a 10-3 lead, and the game ended with this final score.
