1. How long have you been playing soccer for?

I started playing organized soccer at the age of three, and have been ever since.

2.  What inspired you to join the team here at SLU?

While we were growing up, the primary goal for my teammates and myself was to play at university in the States. Luckily, we were all able to get the opportunity, and my route brought me  to SLU.

3.  What is your favorite memory of being on the soccer team at SLU?

To date, my favorite memory is probably our second consecutive league championship win last year. That was one of our main goals for the season, and everyone worked hard all year to achieve it.

4.  Did you play any other sports before committing to soccer?

I have always been committed to soccer, but I did play basketball and run track.

5.  Who is your biggest fan (why)?

My biggest fans would be my parents. They have watched me play for seventeen years, and made a lot of sacrifices for me in order to make that happen.

 6.  How do you feel soccer is different from other sports on campus?

One aspect of the soccer team that may separate us from other squads on campus is the tight knit alumni family. We get a ton of support and love from alumnus. Every player that joins this team becomes a part of a history that is bigger than themselves.

 7.  Do you have any big plans for this semester – bucket list fulfillment’s, etc?

No big plans for me. It is my final semester at SLU, so I hope to finish strong academically and get to the Final Four with the soccer team.

 8.  Do you have any superstitious pre-game rituals?

I always tie my boots twice before a game. Once before we go outside to warm-up, and again before I step on the field to play.

  9.  What is your favorite thing to order from the pub?

Whole wheat chicken tender quesadilla with bbq sauce and spinach

  10.  What are your suggestions for this weekend’s playlist?

 Relaxing: Bryson Tiller – Don’t

Party: Gente De Zona – La Gozadera

Gym: JME ft. Giggs – Man Don’t Care

  11.  Do you have any advice for student athletes?
Good time management will make your life a lot easier. Planning out your day and getting work done in advance will take some pressure off you while you’re in season. I know, I know, it’s easier said than done. Goodluck.
